When that happens, the first that comes to mind is to look for a solution immediately so that your skin stays beautiful. If you find yourself looking up home remedies for acne on the Internet, you might come across tea tree oil as an option. While there are some acne home DIYs on the Internet that seem questionable, make no mistake, tea tree oil is the real deal. Tea tree oil (also known as melaleuca oil) is a natural ingredient that has amazing skin care benefits, but it is particularly skilled at handling acne and any subsequent acne breakouts.

Here are 5 tea tree oil DIYs you must use right away to diminish acne as well as blackheads, whiteheads, and open pores. Ingredients

4 drops of tea tree oil

⅛ tsp. of baking soda

⅛ tsp. of turmeric

1 tbsp. of rice flour

Water, as needed

Instructions

Mix the tea tree oil, baking soda, turmeric, and rice flour together. Add enough water to the mixture until you get a paste that has the consistency of ketchup.

Apply the paste and leave it on for 15 minutes.

Wash it off with warm water. Follow with your toner, serum, and lotion.

Use 1 to 2 times a week.

3. Tea Tree Oil Can Reduce Dryness & Acne Scars

Tea tree oil isn’t just for oily and acne-prone skin, though. You can also use it on your skin if you have dry skin and acne at the same time. Tea tree oil is anti-inflammatory. This means that it helps soothe your skin and alleviate the effects of dryness, itchiness, redness, inflammation, et cetera. In addition, since it is anti-inflammatory, tea tree oil can also reduce the appearance of acne scars and other blemishes. This means that even if your acne is long gone, tea tree oil is still beneficial for you if want flawless, even-toned skin.

Ingredients

3 to 4 drops of tea tree oil

1 tbsp. of fresh tomato juice

1 tbsp. of aloe juice

1 tbsp. of fresh apple juice

Instructions

Mix the ingredients together.

Dab the remedy on your skin. Leave it on for 15 minutes.

4. Tea Tree Oil & Rosewater Can Close Open Pores
