The new version is much thicker and does not seem to sink into the skin as the previous one.

I'm in the US and not familiar with Indian hair care regimens, but I know that rosemary oil is good for thinning hair. When the oil came, I gave my scalp a good massage and kept the oil in my hair for an hour with a swim cap on. After showering, my hair was really soft but it also had body! I like this oil a lot and will keep using it.
